About the Program

The paddleboarding lessons at the Chatham County Aquatic Center cover a variety of topics to help you begin your paddling journey. This class goes over techniques for paddleboarding while sitting, kneeling, standing up, and laying down. This is a beginner level program. This program is not intended for teaching advanced techniques such as those required for whitewater activities.

Need to Know

• Paddleboarding classes are taught as four one-hour lessons. The lessons will be once per week.
• Participants in paddleboarding classes should be comfortable in deep water (7+ feet).
• Participants must be at least six years old.
• The cost per session for the paddleboarding lessons will be $80 dollars for non-members and $70 dollars for members.
